Well, today's update concerns a new feature in Platinum. The page dealing with Pokemon center battles has been added to the Platinum section. Basically, you now have the ability to battle select people in the main lobby of certain Pokemon Centers. Our page deals with the trainers you can fight, where to fight them, and their Pokemon.

I'm working on a Poketch page, as well as the Pokemon Battles in Pokecenters. I wanted to have them ready for today but that didn't happen. They'll be around next week or so.

This update concerns the Top Trainer Cafe addition to the Pokemon Platinum section of the site, otherwise known as the Match Place. Our page deals with everyone you can encounter in the building, the Pokemon they use and the movesets of side Pokemon. There isn't any strategy for them as you should have a good idea what works on what at this stage in the game.

Recently, Circuit City leaked that the release date for Pokemon Platinum is March 22nd, 2009. This seems fitting considering that we usually new Pokemon games in the Spring, not to mention the previously announced European release date of Summer 09.

And before I forget, we now have a news feature. Any Pokemon-releated news (Promo events, new games, movies, etc) will be posted on the News page. There is a link to it located at the top of the page, as well as on the navigation menu labeled as "Pokemon News."

The Pokemon of the week has been updated. The forum members picked Dragonite as their favorite Dragon Pokemon for 10/20, and because I got lazy, I didn't do any more PotW polls for the next few weeks. To that end, I randomly selected four Pokemon to be the PotW of previous weeks; Electabuzz, Sharpedo, Zapdos and Cresselia were selected. The forum members recently voted Exeggutor as their favorite from a list of random matchups.

I've also added a link to my Youtube account under site. Pretty much all I have on there are Pokemon videos showing you how to get certain Pokemon (typically legendary). There are also a few videos of me battling important trainers.

We gained a new affiliate, and also lost one. The little symbols that denoted pages are now diamonds.

However, after December 5th, I will have time to work on the site for a bit before school resumes in January.

Nintendo has just launched Nintendo Zone or some crap like that at the Pokemon Center in New York City. Basically, people with English Pokemon Diamond or Pearl can connect to it and receive free gifts from Nintendo. Right now they are giving away a Pikachu that knows Present. Why they didn't do this over Wi-Fi is above my head.

You might have heard some news that is set to appear in an upcoming edition of Nintendo Power in the UK. According to NP, Pokemon Platinum will be released in Europe in the summer of '09. No release date has been given as of yet for a North American released, but since NA gets Pokemon games before EU, we will most likely see it in the Spring of '09.
